Growing the Flock

We are dedicated to building a sustainable robotics pipeline at Hopkins School. From introductory levels to competitive FTC/FRC teams, we foster the next generation of engineers.

The Thirds Program

We maintain a thriving "Thirds" robotics team with over 30 active members. This program serves as the entry point for new students interested in STEM.

Our FRC team members provide active tutoring for each group, teaching fundamental engineering concepts, basic coding, and fabrication skills to prepare them for higher-level competition.

FTC Mentorship

The Galvanized Goats actively support two full FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC) teams, each consisting of around 15 members.

Every year, our FRC veterans help mentor these teams through their season, providing guidance on mechanism design, Java programming, and strategy to ensure they have a successful season.

Community Events

As a growing team, we are planning to host a Robotics Showcase later this year to display student projects to the wider community.

We also developed a Robotics Teaching Seminar to bring hands-on STEM education to local students outside of Hopkins School.
